Creating Community Ownership

Creating Community Ownership is the mission of the Community Affairs Office. Giving the residents the opportunity to give back to their community is important.

Welcome to the Community Affairs and Volunteer Program. Residents play an important role and we are excited to offer a variety of community events, activities and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Whether it is seasonal, year round or a one-time event, the City of South St. Paul has something for everyone.

Seasonal Volunteer Opportunities

The City of South St. Paul has a variety of seasonal volunteer opportunities ranging during the spring summer and fall months. Opportunities include such programs as Blooming Parks, Streets in Bloom and Adopt a Street. New programs are being developed each year giving the residents an opportunity to give back to the City of South St. Paul.

Community Events - One Time Volunteer Opportunities

The City of South St. Paul offers a variety of volunteer opportunities in the form of community events or activities. River and Park Clean-up, the Great Halloween Get Together, Twins Clinic, Holidaze in South St. Paul and special events or activities within the City of South St. Paul.
