Trees are a valuable commodity because they provide shade, enhance beauty, and increase property values. 

The Public Works department trims boulevard trees and may remove dead boulevard trees. Please contact Public Works at 651-554-3225 for more information.

Xcel Tree Trimming

Xcel trims trees annually during the winter months. Trees are trimmed to help prevent power outages from tree damage to power lines during storms. Any brush/branches will be stacked at curb to be hauled away in a few days. Larger tree limbs will be cut, stacked and left.
