The South St Paul City-wide Garage Sale is back for 2021. The dates are June 24-26. To register to be part of the 2021 sale, complete the registration form before June 16th. A map will be created with the participating addresses and will be available free to shoppers.

Do you know a woman that is from South St. Paul, worked within or represented South St. Paul as a leader? Please consider nominating for the Honoring 90 South St Paul Women. Ninety women will be inducted into the Honoring 90 South St. Paul Women Leaders until August of 2021. Categories of inductees include Education, Government, Religion, Business, Athletics, Art and Community. Complete the attached form and include any attachments to help tell their story.
A committee will review the submissions and induct up to 8 women a month until August of 2021.
Happy Kaposia Days! The SSP CommUNITY Grams are back! Do you have someone that you would like to send a SSP CommUNITY Gram for graduation, Kaposia Days, wishing them a great summer, birthday, anniversary or just because you can. Here is how it works…….Complete the SSP CommUNITY Gram form and return with a donation to the SSP Mayor’s Youth Task Force. A SSP CommUNITY Gram will then be delivered to their home on Thursday, June 24th just before Kaposia days. It will include the SSP CommUNITY gram, treats and small tokens of fun. Everything will be placed in a gift bag.

The City Council meets on the first and third Monday of each month (Tuesday, if a Holiday falls on Monday). The council meetings are open to the public and you have the opportunity to address the City Council during the Citizens Comments portion of the agenda. On the first Monday of the month the EDA will meet following the Council Meeting.

Join the South St. Paul City Council and the SSP Mayor’s Youth Task Force for the See the Truck Event taking place on Saturday, June 26 from 10 am to noon. Here you can check out a variety of BIG trucks and vehicles. We’ll be joined by the South St. Paul Police Department, South Metro Fire, SSP Public Works and so many more cool vehicles. View the vehicles up close, pose for photos and learn about various vehicles. Kids of all ages can experience how trucks work. In addition, join the Mayor & City Council for a fun treat & good conversation. Be part of the Kaposia Days Kiddie Parade at 10:00 am and dress as your favorite Community Hero and parade to the See A Truck Event and have fun exploring vehicles from the Community.
