Sanitary Sewer Relocation Project
The City of South St. Paul has contracted with Meyer Contracting to relocate the sanitary sewer main along Concord Street from Bryant Avenue to Hardman Avenue.

The existing sanitary sewer main is located within the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) rail yard, making maintenance and repairs difficult to coordinate.  Because the UPRR is planning to make improvements to the rail yard next year, a joint effort to relocate the sanitary ewer main was initiated.

The existing lift station located adjacent to the railroad tracks, just north of Bryant Avenue, was constructed in the late 1930's and has exceeded its useful life.  The facility will be replaced as a portion of the project.

Work is expected to begin in early April and be completed by the end of November this year.
