Immigrant Stories of South St. Paul:
Then and Now
Mon, Oct. 17, 6-8 pm
Join us for a public screening of the one-hour award-winning documentary film “A Thousand Dollars and Back: Recollections of Early Romanian Immigration to Minnesota” presented by South St. Paul native and genealogist, Vicki Albu. Following the screening, we’ll have an open discussion about the film and the experiences of all immigrant groups in South St. Paul including work at the stockyards, family histories, food and music.
