When you visit the library, look for Take and Make Kits for Kids that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis up in the children's area.
Storytime for 2s-6s
Tuesday Sept. 6 - Nov. 29, 10:30 - 11 a.m. : Read, play, sing, talk and write together with stories and activities to develop early literacy skills for toddlers and preschoolers. Siblings welcome. Geared for ages 2-6.
Wednesday Sept. 7 - Nov. 30, 10:30 - 11 a.m. : Read, play and sing along with your young child in this interactive storytime designed for newborns and babies. Geared for ages birth to age 2 with their caregivers.

"Cooking" with Kids Class
Monday, Nov. 14, 21 & 28, 5 - 6:30 p.m. : Join our cooking class series for caregivers and children. Learn side by side how to prepare healthy foods and snacks, how to involve kids in the preparation of healthy foods safely, how to save money when purchasing healthy foods and the benefits of eating together at mealtime. Together we will prepare a light entrée or snack at each class and enjoy family style eating together. Sponsored by U of MN Extension. Registration required. Geared for youth ages 8-17 and their caregivers.
