So many great memories from the past few years. Here at the City, we have given it much thought as to how we could alter to make it a safe event, while still having a fun evening. How can we follow CDC guidelines of social distancing, wearing of masks not only on the little ones, but adults and volunteers. After brain storming our options, it was determined that we are not able to host it this year, which makes us sad. Safety and social distancing are just 2 factors we took into consideration. Like many of the larger community celebrations, it takes so many local merchants, businesses, organizations, sponsors and volunteers to make The Great Halloween Get Together a success. With the current condition of COVID 19 and the affects that it has on the economy and all involved, it is best to cancel for this year and come back stronger next year.
